With a long heritage in film restoration, Image systems will be presenting its latest solutions that bring more versatility and choice to content owners, facilities and  archives.

The integration of the Golden Eye III scanner with Phoenix restoration software gives users the ability to automate film scans for simple preservation and to also restore valuable content in the same process, ready for global distribution or archive. This industry first presents a highly cost effective workflow, designed to be managed by a single operator that allows for QC of final images with additional semi-automatic or manual image enhancement as required.

For content owners who also have large video archives, the new video restoration tools in the Phoenix toolset, including cross color and line sync, present the most flexible and powerful single restoration product in the market. The latest Phoenix product range includes integrated film and video restoration and enhancement tools, along with additional workflow benefits such as the 64-bit implementation significantly improving speed and performance when restoring memory intensive projects such as 4K. Recent examples of customers who are using Phoenix for stunning outcomes include the restoration by Éclair of 1940s French masterpiece “Les Enfants du Paradis”, the Technicolor Film Foundation restoration of Méliès' classic film, “Voyage dans la Lune”, Mars Motel restoration of the iconic film “Autumn Sonata” starring Ingrid Bergman and Deluxe 142 who are at work rescuing “Hitchcock 9”.

Downton Abbey

Nucoda is the premier color grading platform on the market today, in use on the most popular episodic television, film, commercials, documentaries, and music video releases.  This season, over 40 network and cable hits including “CSI”, “New Girl,” “Homeland,” “Downton Abbey”, “Life’s Too Short” were graded using Nucoda.  Additionally, Nucoda has contributed to a number of creatively demanding projects including the upcoming feature: Film Factory’s “Mirror Mirror”, Pixar Animation Studio’s “Brave”, Aardman Animations’ “The Pirates! Band of Misfits”, Walden Media’s “Of Men and Mavericks”.

ACES workflow
- new ACES-IIF environment including the benefits of using high dynamic range (HDR) in the postproduction pipeline with a set of solutions adapted for any color critical workflows, including HDR capture with the ARRI and RED cameras and full HDR grading with the Nucoda Film Master.

Stereo 3D tools - New, automated "Auto Color & Align tools” are now part of Nucoda’s respected stereoscopic workflow.  These tools enable users to automatically match 3D cameras, with advanced motion estimation technology providing morphing and color matching capabilities.

New deformable shape tracker
- Advanced and totally unique shape tracking concept. Instead of tracking and then moving a shape the new tracker actually deforms the shape to match perfectly the changes occurring to the object underneath.
