Image Systems unveils new software release for Nucoda and Phoenix products

London, UK, 25 July 2011 – Image Systems, formerly Digital Vision, has today announced the worldwide release of its 2011.0 software for the Nucoda grading and mastering products and Phoenix image media restoration and repackaging software solutions. This new release includes support for Precision, the company’s next-generation integrated control surface for the Nucoda range of products. Featuring five high resolution touch screens with unique menu navigation and toolset control, the Precision panel is already being shipped to more than 50 customers worldwide.

Tony Osborne, [email protected] Colourist says, “The new Precision panel is a terrific asset to our post production process. The panel has facilitated quicker access to the colour tools as well as finer control. The touch screen control significantly speeds the process of saving and recalling grades and the dedicated layer buttons make navigation up and down the layers much more efficient. Overall, the panel supports our creative choices with ease of operation and outstanding ergonomics."

Martin Bennett, Image Systems’ MD Media says, “The release of the new Precision grading panel is a milestone not just for us as a company but for our loyal customer base. We really look forward to further developing this product as the addition of touch screen technology offers a world of new possibilities.  This is just the start of a busy release schedule and more will be unveiled in September as we introduce further features and tools for both Nucoda and Phoenix software platforms that will boost performance and functionality".
